Spring 2008 Issue Highlights

It's clear that satellite imagery and remote sensing are key technologies used in climate change and environmental analysis. This is the International Polar Year, and we bring you some details about one of the flagship projects: GIIPSY (Global Interagency International Polar Snapshot Year), including imagery of McCall Glacier in Alaska when it was part of the IGY in 1958.
